The star Wars And the Marvel Cinematic Universe are two of the biggest Hollywood franchises of all time, amassing legions of fans because of the shows each outfit releases. Another part of the equation is the thick shrouds of secrecy involved in production, leading fans to speculate about the months leading up to each project. in case if Andor Star Adria Arjona, it was especially hard not to tell those close to her that she’s been cast in one of the biggest movie franchises in the world.
“Well, I’ve been really having issues with this because I was like, ‘I’m going to tell my mom, obviously I’m going to call my mom and tell her all about it,'” Arjuna told ComicBook.com. “But then I was like, then you’ll know the whole island of Puerto Rico. So I was like, ‘I don’t want that.'”
The only person who knew about her new job was her partner, who helped her read the lines when needed.
Arjuna adds, “I think I really shared it with my partner, because he was with me during filming. So I’d kind of come home and he’d help me read the lines and stuff.” “He hasn’t read any of the scripts, and he doesn’t really know everything, but he knows a little bit about what kind of thing I’m into. So I guess I still keep it… I think protecting a fan’s experience or protecting someone’s experience when watching a show like this It’s very, very important, but I also didn’t want to tell anyone. I’m trying to forget myself.”
In the series, Arjona plays a new character named Bix Caleen, presumably a member of the Rebel Alliance.
“I guess I’d describe her as incredibly bold and brave. She’s really, I don’t know how to call that, maybe like a mechanic. She’s a sal yard manager and Farix is kind of an industry and a very competitive world. And I think you can kind of feel that in Pecs, says the actor. “And I think the relationship that she has with Cassian is really interesting to me and I think fans are really going to love her and Bix will really like it because of what she’s been through throughout this whole show. I almost said something, but I didn’t.”
